About

Ally is a flutist and teacher in the Greater Indianapolis area. She is a 2023 graduate from Butler University, with degrees in Music Performance and French. Her playing has been awarded multiple honors, including scholarships and festival recognitions. She has a passion for theatre, performing in the orchestra with productions of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma!, Alan Menken's The Little Mermaid, Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker and Swan Lake, to name some of her favorites.

Ally teaches flute students of all ages in the Indy area and is a proud teacher at Westside Music Academy, teaching flute and early childhood music. Additionally, she has earned the Global Seal of Biliteracy Functional Fluency Award in the French language.

Ally loves mixed ensemble chamber music, new music, and pit orchestra playing. She has been involved in multiple premieres, including works for wind ensemble, flute choir, piccolo trio, opera, and commissioned solo pieces. When she is not performing, she loves to read fantasy novels, go hiking or kayaking, and play with her dogs, Daisy and Logan.
